We’re working with Andrea to tour this new work in the UK in 2024-25, bringing children and their grown ups across the UK in touch with his raucous and inventive world.

Created as a special commission by Explore dance network in Germany, PayPer Play is a dance show aimed at audiences aged 7-12 year’s old; centred around a lonely character living in a cardboard box-filled room, with only companion a TV the show offers a light-hearted reflection on the pain of loneliness and the importance of human connection. The work is conceived and choreographed by Andrea Constanzo Martini originally from Italy who is based out of Tel Aviv. TVC in partnership with The Place plan to tour the work in the UK in 2024-25, bringing children and their grown ups across the UK in touch with Andrea’s raucous and inventive world.   

Andrea Costanzo Martini is a dance artist and choreographer with a significant number of accolades and an expensive resume as a performer. He began his professional career as a ballet dancer in the Aalto Staats Theater Essen, was a dancer with BATSHEVA and the CULLBERG Ballet, where he performed repertoire by acclaimed choreographers. Martini has created numerous works, supported by various organisations, and his repertoire has toured extensively in Europe.

He has received several awards for his choreography and has been recognized as a rising artist. His works have been presented throughout the world including Potsdam Fabrik, K3 Hamburg, Shanghai Int. Dance center, The Place London, Zurich Tanzahus, HochX Munich, B-Motion Festival, InTeatro Festival, Brigittines Brussels, Charleroi Danse, La briqueterie (Paris).
