Stepping Out

IN 2022, TVC devised and delivered a new Creative Lab for British South Asian artists who are considering making new work for outdoor settings.Commissioned by Without Walls, and developed in partnership with 101 Outdoor Arts, this 2 day and 3 night residential lab explored the foundations of creating, producing, and presenting art for public space. The lab brought together a range of speakers and panelists including established artists, makers, producers, and specialists from across the performing arts sector. It included a number of daytime and evening sessions which ranged in format and provided opportunities to learn, share, understand, make new connections, build relationships and ultimately support the early steps towards a creative path of making new work for public space..
